Lewis Sylvester goes Continental

On May 23rd, 2025, the Keepmoat Stadium transforms into a battleground as two former English lightweight title holders collide in a showdown for the vacant IBO Continental Lightweight Title!

Lewis “The Thrill from Gipsyville” Sylvester (15-1, 4 KOs), fighting out of Hull and proudly representing the Humber region, returns to the ring with his sights set on the gold. Sylvester defended the English title in 2023 with a devastating first-round TKO—dropping his opponent three times before the fight was ended. Now training in Doncaster under respected manager and trainer Stefy Bull, Sylvester enters the ring with massive local support on his side.

His opponent, Reece Mould (20-3, 6 KOs) is a dangerous and experienced opponent, having claimed the English Lightweight, English Featherweight, and WBA Continental Lightweight titles. With a deep résumé and proven toughness, Mould will be a good opponent.

It’s worth mentioning that the two fighters actually like each other, sparring and training together in the past. However, it has been mutually agreed that the civilities will be put to one side on the night, as the two professionals put on a show.

This 10-round clash promises to be an exciting bout with championship stakes. With the Humber crowd behind him, Sylvester is ready to rise to the challenge!
